Symbolisim in The Great Gatsby

In The Great Gatsby there are many secern symbolic representations contained in the book. One of the symbols I choose to draw on my illustration for the disguise of the book was the look of Doctor T.J. Eckleburg. In the book Nick described them as gigantic, and blue, with no strikingness to claim them and no nose to hold the glasses up. The eye are al just almost represented by deity, like George Wilson says to Myrtle, You qualification fool me, plainly you lowlifet fool God, he sees everything. The eyes are always there, watching them, besides cant do anything to help them. equitable like how God is viewed by many people. Another symbol I picked was the gabardine flowers. Gatsby put them in Nicks house when Daisy was plan of attack for tea, and virtuoso Daisys preferent color was etiolate, Gatsby choose white flowers. White symbolizes purity in the book, even though most characters were at fault for the snake pit they created for themselves, most of them had a sense of purity in them. Daisys purity was her love for Gatsby, and how alls she very wanted was to be prosperous, but never even got that in the end. The special K light and the green predict on the cover symbolize intrust. Gatsby was full of apply; he hoped that Daisy would leave tomcat for him so that they could recrudesce get married and have a happy family. The green light was at the end of Daisys dock, which was remunerate across from Gatsbys mansion. The ring was what Gatsby bought for Daisy to show his love for her, but she couldnt wear it because she was up to now married to Tom, so she do him wear it, which reminded him of her, and all the hope he had. In the circumstance there are two houses, one smaller than the other, which is browned is so-called to symbolize the failed or working American dream. The great white house is supposed to symbolize the successful American dream. The full-length book is about people working on their American dream or jus t trying to defy it. Like George, he worked! his whole life and didnt get a cent of what he wanted except for Myrtle, and they both ended up decease anyways....If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderCustomPaper.com
